Brencia Berry

Brencia Berry is a seasoned political strategist and social impact leader known for cultivating movements and building innovative,
community-centered campaigns. With a career spanning national, state, and local levels, she develops strategic plans that help
organizations meet advocacy and electoral goals through authentic, grassroots engagement.

Most recently, Brencia served as Political Director at the Democratic National Committee, where she launched a groundbreaking
partnership program, delivered targeted media campaigns, and led the creation of the Coalitions & Community Engagement
department. Her work helped produce historic results in the 2022 midterms, including retaining the Senate and flipping state
legislatures.

She has also served as Vice President of Equity and Political Strategy at Paid Leave for the U.S., leading its first national outreach
campaign and reaching over 350,000+ likely voters. On Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign, Brencia was National Deputy
Director of Public Engagement, translating policy into actionable communications and toolkits. Her experience also includes
leadership roles in local and state government, where she made history as San Antonio’s first Black woman Chief of Staff and
secured $20M in equity-focused infrastructure investments.

From advising elected officials and campaigns to producing major national political events, Brencia brings unmatched expertise
